Howard Webb was the ref for the game between Liverpool and Stoke. Was it a memorable game?

Well a game that will not last in my memory for ever. The only thing really to remember is that like on the website debatable decisions and also in our numbers you see that Stoke is the team that benefits most from the “mistakes” that refs make.  Very strange to say the least.
Webb didn’t have much to do in the first half with only 8 decisions to make where one was an offside. But still managed to make 2 mistakes in those 8 calls.
Carroll was once again poor and was looking for a penalty all the time. Once he was right but for the rest it was painful to see

  1. Great job on the new layout with smaller grid lines! It looks a lot cleaner and easier to read!

  2. Okay thanks for liking the new layout as I somehow found out to do it like this. Well in fact computer problems forced me to go on and experiment a bit with the layout 😉

  3. Good review 04 and thanks. Nice to see a reasonably fair performance. Let us hope we can get one for Arsenal this season!!!
