Arsenal vs Hull: The FA Cup LIVE

Welcome to the FA Cup third round clash between Arsenal and Hull City at the Emirates, brought to you by Arsenal’s Official Car And Van Rental Partner Europcar.

It’s the most magical weekend in English football and fortune has brought these two sides together at the first opportunity since their memorable meeting in last year’s final, where Arsene Wenger’s men came from two goals down to claim their first piece of silverware for nine years.

The Gunners have enjoyed a strong run of form of late and should enter the tie full of confidence, especially with Aaron Ramsey close to full fitness and Mesut Ozil nearing a return to action.

Mohamed Diame, Michael Dawson and Robert Snodgrass remain long-term absentees for Steve Bruce’s Hull, whose patchy Premier League form has left them hovering just above the relegation zone at the turn of the new calendar year.

  1. All the tweets around the world are like – Sanchez is in the red zone, how come he is playing [and they are just crossing their greasy fat fingers in hope that he’d get injured for sure].

    Fuckin media haters.

  2. Watching the game on TV in Dahanu India, & the commentator says that the spectators are all new as they are not season ticket holders. This is what these so called experts publicise as the price of Arsenal tickets. They do not realise that the season ticket includes first 8 FA cup & Champions League home ties.

Arsenal playing tiki taki & pissing the pundits off. 1-0 with a BFG goal. I’m glad my 0-3 nightmare was wrong.

  3. That ticket price is valid for Arsenal as other clubs do not win the 4th place trophy (just to clarify for the aaa).

  4. Commentary is so annoying Hull have so many injuries their still in it Arsenal look stale not sign of champions grinding a win

  5. Think he changed his mind at the last moment and from going for teh shot, went for the pass.

  6. Let’s go Theo ! Another through ball like this and he scores. Just need to get back the mojo.

  7. Just tuned in from work to see the the “game management” in all it’s glory.
Looks like the esteemed official has decided that The Arsenal a no longer allowed to tackle! So subtle 😉

Who does he think he is kidding?

  8. Campbell just needs to relax … man ! Everything is just too tense. Relax kiddo !

  9. The offical appears to be trying his darnedest to keep hull in the game? How else do explain such partisan transparent bungling?

Well. Looks like the Arsenal just have to beat fourteen. At home. Again. Won’t be the first time.

    Come on you gunners!

  10. There have been a couple of dodgy decisions but not that many. Think the ref has been pretty good but Alexis needs protecting from Hull players.

Saying that, booking Alexis for being fouled is stupid.

  11. Not wanting to jinx in any way but our defense / defensive midfield didn’t afford Hull more than 2.5 passes. Great work !

Couldve/shouldve been 3 or even 4 nil by now.

  12. Sanchez.

Signed whilst the Groaners were groaing and Vengarggggh was frolicking on the beach in his swimwear,

Replaced by: Akpom! One to watch.

Looks like Arsenal are a club on the up to me 🙂

  13. Have to say, the Coq booking was a yellow all day long but that said, one of their defenders did that a few minutes ago to block a shot and we didn’t even get a free kick.

  14. The differential is not only with the PGMO representative (I think we can agree he’s not really a referee):

Note that the bbc commentators praise one team for making risky or marginal tackles but criticise the other! As Jamie Redknapp would say, “literally” partisan plunditry. Blatant!

    Well played The Arsenal.

  15. Correction: don’t think the offical today was apart of the PGMO list? If not then I guess he was auditioning for The House of Riley.

  16. Well my opinion was only based on that latter period of the game I saw where the offical appeared overly sympathetic to the losing team.

So I’m happy to agree with Menace! 🙂

  17. The match report is already on line. Extra extra read all about it !!! 🙂
