Well what can you say about such a report apart from: WELL DONE MR. MADLEY!!!!!!

In the first half he gave a foul against Koscielny that wasn’t a foul at all. And he refused to give a penalty against Kaboul who brought Giroud down in the penalty area. And that were all the wrong decisions in the whole 90 minutes!

Amazing! If we would get such a report each and every match then I would ask Usama if it really is worth the trouble to keep on doing the reviews. Alas this is the exception to what we usually get in our reviews.

Now one could say that he made two errors and both were against Arsenal but I will not blame him for having a 100% bias against Arsenal. If you only make make two errors in 90 minutes it is or a 50/50 bias score or 100%. In this case it was 100% but well one can’t blame him and say he is biased against Arsenal based on two decisions.

As this is a report with hardly any errors we will note this down as a Riley score. And hope that we get many more. But looking back at the other reviews this seems to be the exception to the usual lower scores we find.

More of this for the rest of the season please….

Some more anniversaries

  • 27 December 1926: Cardiff City 2 Arsenal 0.  League debut for Horace Cope and Harold Peel – two Chapman signings who made only modest impacts. It was also the last match for James Ramsay who move to Kilmarnock on 30 December.
  • 27 December 1930:  Arsenal 7 Blackpool 1  With hatricks for Jack and Bain, and a goal from Bastin it was the fourth game of the season with five or more goals by Arsenal. It was also George Male’s first game for the first team.  Arsenal went on to score 5+ five more times.

  1. Mr. Madley obviously hasn’t been listening to the instructions. I’m afraid we’ll never see such a good performance from him again, as he aspires to climb the ladder of seniority and push for his FIFA badge.

Btw, shouldn’t have Fletcher received a yellow card for simulation? Just saying 🙂
