Transfers: 8 more players Arsenal are buying, one more departure

By Sir Hardly Anyone

The total number of players being tipped to come to Arsenal has now reached 48 while the number leaving has risen to 21.   Where multiple sources are cited the most recent report is the one on the right.

This is our last summary before the transfer window actually opens on June 14 – we’ll have more updates after that. In recent years the total of players tipped to be coming to Arsenal has reached over 100, with about two or three percent of those stories being true.

  1. Looks like Ben Tesco is off the agenda.Osimen & Gykores left? Big bucks.
Oh & Hi Tony.Any chance of replying to my emails?

  2. Charles

You are a fairly regular visitor and you haven’t noticed Untold has been running these figures for about 10 years (at a guess) now?

And as a regular, surely you realise these figures are just being used as a tool to highlight the dreadful standard of journalism we get fed on a day to day basis.

If you find articles about transfers boring/banal/a waste of time, try reading the headline before clicking on it. I would of thought the word ‘Transfers’ was a bit of a give away as to what lies within, wouldn’t you?

    Just saying.

  3. Charles,
The byline is “Sir Hardly Anyone”, surely a giveaway to the satiric nature of the piece. No?

  4. Nitram and Goon 73 No, The only difference between past posts on this subject and today for me is that I thought to comment. I never read the content.

However, I always read your comments on posts published here.

  5. Charles

    Fair enough, my apologies.

I just thought it odd as these articles have gone up for years, and as Goonersince72 says, they are very tongue-in-cheek.

Honestly, I don’t ‘read’ the articles as such, as I understand they are just meant to expose the ludicrous nature of the media.

It’s a bit like a political manifesto really, as you know before you even start reading that 97% of it is made up and never going to happen!!!

  6. BND I do try and reply to emails so I am sorry if I missed some – I do get several hundred a day. Email me again and write Re Untold Arsenal as the subject line and I should pick it out.

  7. Nitram. I assure you no offence taken. I repect you as a serious poster here and will comtinue to read all your comments. 🙂
