Arsenal under 21 live on Sky TV tonight

The Arsenal under 21 game tonight is seemingly on Sky TV, although quite how one finds it among all the other games they are screening I am not sure.

This game is against the under 21s of Cardiff City in the final game of their Vertu Trophy group stage. Kick-off at the Cardiff City Stadium is scheduled for 7.45pm.

I am very much not an expert on the under 21s game and I would be delighted to find someone who can write about them for this site, but in the meanwhile you are stuck with me, and I’ll try to give the basics.

What we do know is that every team in the group has won one and lost one in the opening games and everyone appears to have the same points.   Arsenal are top of their own group but only on goals scored.   The game is on Sky although I can’t tell you which channel number you  need.

The group winners then progress to the knockout cup stage of the contest.  As in previous games if scores are equal they go straight to penalties.  At the moment the four teams are separated only by goals scored.    In the last game Cardiff beat Newport County 2-1.

My apologies for not providing more details about the side, but if you are knowledgeable about under 21 football and wold like to share your knowledge with others by writing about the Arsenal 21s on this site, I would be delighted to hear from you.  Please email me at Tony@schools.co.uk

However Sky are promising it is on, so maybe I can learn a bit more about this age group playing for Arsenal and be a little more knowledgeable next time around, assuming Arsenal do make it thorough past the group stage.
