Every summer transfer window we collect the details of the players that reporters and bloggers claim will be heading Arsenal’s way when the window “slams shut” (as in, it always “slams shut,”) and presumably breaks the glass.
We often reach 100 or more names of players by the end of August and this year with a week left July we are on 43 players, so yes the 100+ target is still possible.
Of course some players get no further than a single mention in one publication – but then you never know. But the average in recent years has been three players arriving into the first team squad during the summer months, so we there will be some new faces.
And beside it gives everyone something to write about. And if you want to point out someone that we have missed please do write in.
