By Sir Hardly Anyone
The window hasn’t even had a key inserted in it, let alone has it been opened but we already have 32 players coming to Arsenal this summer. And eight of these are new in the past few days.
We also have one new player who is on his way out making a total of 17 leaving thus far. It looks like we shall easily equal the record of having every player on the club’s books leaving before the window creaks closed once again.
Plus we have added a new “being sacked” section at the end, and kept the “moving up” section, after requests for this to be maintained.
So following previous averages it is possible that one of the players in this list will join Arsenal, but also very likely that none of them will.

Where’s Zaha I’ve read three articles this week on him coming to Arsenal?
CECH SHOULD NOT PLAYER IN THE FINAL
In the next update probably Mig
I simply ignore these crazy rumors. Guess I’ll wait for after the finals to see who Emry will buy .
Spurs finished 1 point above Arsenal. Why aren’t all their players rubbish? Wgere is the clamor from the media to ship out the entire squad? Just a normal day in Media Fantasyland.
Kudos to Calum Chambers for winning player of the year at Fulham. Not often that on loan players win over supporters that quickly. He played as a holding midfielder. It would be great if he could make the jump to our squad next year.

OT: 5 Things We Noticed as Arsenal Board Plane to Baku
1. The plane had wings.
2. The plane had tires.
3. The plane had at least 1 engine.
4. The tires were touching the ground.
5. I forget.
I was hopping to see Zaha
OT: More medja headlines.
How Much do You Know About Baku?
Nothing. How much do I want to know about Baku? Nothing.

Arsenal University?
https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/sports/article/2001327126/wenger-i-wanted-to-create-arsenal-university-before-i-stepped-down
I don’t think Arsenal University would have been something Kroenke would have been interested in, but it seems like a neat idea.
Arsenal who already have the could next season become a Central Defensive Midfielder (CDMA) Calum Chambers return to the rank of the club’s 1st team squad and also have the young Matteo Guandouzi available. But was he a Defensive Midfielder at Arsenal last season? If not, what role then on the field of play did Guendouzi play in the team for Arsenal last season? It’s already known that Torreria played as a DMF in front of the back-four at Arsenal last season. But what of Xhaka? What role in the team did he play on the field for Arsenal last season? Was it the Central Attacking Midfielder role that he played? But he certainly did not play as a true Defensive Midfielder for Arsenal last season in the PL despite he’s often been paired along with Torreria or Guendouzi as 2 DMFs in front of the back-four of the team.
Ramsey hasn’t left Arsenal for Juventus as he’s still a Gunner. And that means he could play for Arsenal against Chelsea in the Europa League Cup final next Wednesday night in Baku Azerbaijan. Which if he plays, it will be the final match that he’ll play in Arsenal colour. But who in the current Arsenal 1st team squad can properly fill the void he’ll leave behind in the midfield of the team? Well, I can’t pinpoint any Gunner out. But could my lack of being able to pin point out a correct replacement for him within the current Arsenal 1st team squad on ground at the club compel Arsenal to sign a new player this summer? Say, Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester FC to replace him?
In the short term/long term, Arsenal will need to address the deficit in the number of goals scored that has been existing at Arsenal left wing position in the PL matches for the past 2 seasons. To correctly addressed the deficit and cancel it out by upping the goals scoring ante at the team’s left wing, Arsenal will need to sign a proven regular League goals scorer of the caliber of Gareth Bale for their left wing position. Who if signed this summer by Arsenal, he could guaranteed scoring not less that 15 goals with giving at least 10 assists in the PL for Arsenal next season. But I strongly advice the club to still keep their Alex Iwobi as his understudy and to cover for him.
Every off season Arsenal are linked with hundreds of players, some are of a high standard and price, some are average and many are unheard of. Others are promising youngsters. However, this fantasy land never transmits into reality. We usually buy only 1 or 2 or 3 players the summer transfer window and usually only 1 of them have any lasting impact on the 1st team. Let’s be honest with ourselves and face facts. As long as Kroenke is the owner we will never be the club the fans want Arsenal to be.
The two points you make Nigel are not connected. We do this analysis each season, and the number has got over 100 players each season, with the average number of purchases being three. It was not different under the previous owners nor the previous manager. The whole thing is a fantasy by journalists to keep viewers and readers interested.
That is the best approach.
“The whole thing is a fantasy by journalists to keep viewers and readers interested.” Which I see you are more than happy to indulge in yourself, regardless of how tongue in cheek these articles are supposed to be.
Jezzy it would appear from your comments that you find the annual review of transfer rumours and the analysis of the percentage accuracy which it delivers, is not to your taste. Fair enough – you don’t find them interesting it would seem. But then, why bother to read them. And more oddly, why bother to comment on them?
