Top-flight games will be played in empty stadiums and the PL refuses to broadcast almost half of them.
The reason of course is because between them, the clubs and the broadcasters failed to come up with anything in the contracts that worked out what to do in the case of a national emergency.
Now the clubs want the broadcasters to put on more games, and the broadcasters are refusing to without reaching a new financial deal with the clubs.
The clubs are far too busy spending such money as they have on transfer fees. So now none of us – be we season ticket holders, casual attenders or non-attenders have any way of seeing the game.
Which means of course PGMO will have a field day, doing anything they like, penalising anyone they wish to, and fixing the match however they want to.
When supporters have no legal way to watch their team live, then the few remaining protections that we have against match fixing have gone.
Having to watch Arsenal games on BT Sport is bad enough, but even their awful bias is not as bad as having no coverage at all.
And thats where a kodi stick and a vpn are invaluable. If the FA/SKY/BT don’t want to play ball market forces dictate. It may even bring Amazon more to the fore as a disruptor in the space. Having a duopoly is not healthy for the game or its viewers. I look forward to going to live games again, but it probably wont be until next season.
What is the point of playing games without spectators in either direct or remote attendance. Isn’t this a spectator driven sport?
I think this unprecedented ugly matter will be resolved by those authorities concerned in resolving it. In fact, this unpleasant matter that has suddenly arose out of the sky blue and unforeseen had to be resolved as quickly as possible. So that the bad situation will be arrested from coming to stay. Whereby the paying football fans can neither watch their darling Premier League football club sides physical in the stadium nor on the TV live when their clubs are playing whenever they choose to watch them live playing. Which if the ugly situation prevailed to come to stay will be pathetic.
The PGMO will absolutely have a complete unhindered freedom to be raping Arsenal in broad day light in their Premier League matches in the Stadium next season if there won’t be any oversight function work performed on the PGMO by the spectators in the Stadium nor by those watching on the TV. But who are going to be bar from watch some Arsenal matches live in the Stadium home and away in the PL next season. So that if they are not bar can testify as witnesses against the PGMO in their attacking Arsenal in their Premier League matches to forcefully raping the Gunners with reckless abandon due the lack of any oversight function work performed on them by football watching fans who should be watching them in their Arsenal match officiating refereeing live in the Stadium or on TV in the PL to do oversight work on them. Which if done will force the PGMO to step back from their obnoxious anti-Arsenal match refereeing in the PL raping agenda against Arsenal FC knowing that they are being closely monitored and watched. Hmmm.

Without the paying spectators, and all the other attendant matchday collections , there is going to be a great cash income reduction for all the clubs.
If the usual companies who televise the games are not willing to step up , or try to hold the clubs to ransom , then thinking outside the box is really needed now.
While I am not sure what the actual agreement adheres to , or what the limits are for breaching these agreements ; yet if a product is not being properly marketed , or being illegally prevented from being marketed , should not the produce find a direct way to the consumer?
Are the fans willing to pay individually to watch Arsenal games from the safety of their homes. From all over the world ? Billions of us? Each willing to share the load and get our fix at the sametime help our club ? I trully like to think so.
Has the club the infrastructure to get these games to the paying fans ? I believe that the Kroenkes’ do have such facillities . Many are already to ditch their present vendor ;while many like me ditched them years ago . We have our own in house Arsenal TV.
Just imagine, in one swoop , we can get rid of the tv companies , their lackeys and those media idiots that constantly deride our club. Wouldn’t that be the sweetest thing to happen this year ? Other than the arrival of MA , the winning of the FA Cup and the Community Sheid , of course.
We have the product , the consumers , and the internet . Someone get cracking and make a killing in the process !
No oversight and no witnesses. Ideal conditions for some agencies to operate in. Expect the Manure penalty count average to reach 2 per game, and our red cards per game to do likewise.
