It is being said that Arsenal’s almost certain failure to make it to the Champions League has scuppered many of their transfer plans, but the Telegraph in an article “Arsenal to significantly invest in squad even if they suffer Champions League disappointment” have suggested that the Europa League was the ambition from the start of the season, and so plans are afoot to up the quality of the squad to Champions League qualifiers in 2022/3.
As a result, six more names have been added to the list of candidates for purchasing with six other players having been reported as actively on the move with more clubs interested (marked as “update”) as they have all appeared in the list before.
That makes 78 players we are tipped to sign and 24 who are leaving the club.
