It is a most curious coincidence that when a big story (such as Mesut finally having had enough of racism in Germany) breaks, it always happens just at the moment when the transfer tales dry up. I mean it couldn’t be that these fellas down the public house are actually making stuff up, and don’t have to because there is a real story out there for once, could it?
Actually there has been a story of late with Kelechi Nwakali going to FC Porto on a loan move with an option of a permanent deal at the end of the season.
And of course the one story no one is taking up. If, as Uli Hoeness suggested, Mesut has been crap for years, why is no one calling for an enquiry into the German national team’s selection. I mean, why have they kept picking such a rubbish player? Or maybe he wasn’t as Uli Hoeness has said.
In fact Hoeness sounded rather Trump like as he suggested fake news was at stake. “His 35 million follower boys – that don’t exist in the real world – are convinced he has played sublimely when he completes a cross pass.” If it were me I’d sue, but of course it isn’t.
MCFC Watch are astounded that the clubs taking part in the ICC competition are getting €15million each for playing in the competition. They are also a little confused, thinking that Arsenal are playing in the USA, but well, the thought of a lot of money can do that to people.
