Totts v Arsenal. Penalty for Totts, Arsenal man sent off. Yes: it’s Mike Dean.

Tots v Arsenal 16 March 2014 – The Match Officials

by Andrew Crawshaw

“We’re Doomed I Tell you Doomed”

  • Referee – Mike Dean
  • Assistants – J Collin and M McDonough
  • Fourth Official – A Marriner

So the return of the ‘Dark Lord’ – is his reputation really justified?  Our overall record with Mr Dean compared with our record against all referees is :

Total Games

Won

Drawn

Lost

All Games

825

444 (53.8%)

164 (19.8%)

217 (26.3%)

Non-Dean Games

9 (50%)

So it would seem that at the very least his presence does have an impact on our results which are certainly different from the all-referee average and a bigger one in terms of the win percentage in the games he hasn’t refereed.

Furthermore the difference becomes staggering in the games from the 2009/10 season onwards and it really is difficult to accept that he is a ‘fair and honest broker’.

We win less than a third of the games we do with other referees (who also all show bias against out club), draw 50% more and lose nearly twice as many.  Something simply isn’t right and even some sections of the media have now started picking up on this.

It is now 34 games and counting since he awarded a penalty – don’t put your shirt on one coming on Sunday if you are tempted to have a bet.  On the other hand he has been known to award soft penalties against us when we are winning matches.

Many of us remember his jigs when Tottenham scored their second goal against us a couple of years ago and also after the League Cup final defeat.  Whatever his problem is with Arsenal, he should be honest and admit it and have no future role in our games.

We have had him twice this year, on 22 September, he came to the Emirates with Mr Collin and Mr Beswick and was, for him, rather benign as we beat Stoke 3-1.  He also came on 23 December for the tedious 0-0 draw with Chelsea, where he was considerably less fair, failing to send off two Chelsea players for assaults on Arteta and denied us a really good shout for a penalty (as usual).  Here is Walter’s review of that game

Dean useless as usual, Mourinho still the master in killing football pleasure

In light of the above it is somewhat surprising to find that Mr Dean actually came fourth in the anti-Arsenal bias sweep for last year with a paltry -19.25, the winner being Mr Swarbrick with -61.  Make no mistake though Dean is the Daddy, he has had years of practice and knows the rules forwards, backwards and sideways and is always prepared to exercise them to the letter for any infringements committed by Arsenal players.  Strangely he is far more lenient when it comes to our opponents (funny thing that).

Arsenal-bias-per-ref

Last year he did four games

  1. City v Arsenal (1-1) – Overall rating 83%, bias against 71/29 and no wrong Important Decisions (Second yellow, red cards penalties and goals).
  2. United v Arsenal (2-1) – Overall rating 80%, bias against 15/85 and three wrong important decisions.  In minute 44 United were wrongly awarded a penalty for handball, in Minute 58 Cleverly should have been sent off for a second yellow card and in Minute 90 Arteta should also have been sent off for a second yellow card (he should have had a card in Min 30).
  3. Arsenal v City (0-2) – Overall rating 67%, bias against 84/16 and one wrong Important Decision. He correctly sent off Koscielny in Minute 8 (and awarded a penalty to City from which they failed to score) in Minute 8 and then correctly sent off Kompany in minute 74.  He also should have sent off Dzeko in minute 82 for a second bookable offence (which didn’t get the booking)
  4. Arsenal v Wigan (4-1) – Overall rating 92%, bias against 100/0 but no wrong Important Decisions and very few wrong calls all game.

He was dreadful in our home game v City making far too many mistakes and being totally inconsistent in his decision making.  Against United he assisted United to the points with wrong Important Decisions.

For the other two games he was actually quite good making few mistakes and getting nothing major wrong – IF ONLY HE WERE LIKE THIS THE WHOLE TIME WE WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

Ok he seems to hate us with a passion that is generally returned by most Gooners.  How is he with Spurs?  Last year his bias for Spurs was positive, but not by too much.  Spurs total stats to date are :-

Total Games

Won

Drawn

Lost

All Games

826

323 (39.1%)

215 (26.0%)

288 (34.9%)

Non-Dean Games

786

306 (38.9%)

202 (25.7%)

278 (35.4%)

All Dean games

40

17 (42.5%)

13 (32.5%)

10 (25.0%)

So again a marginal improvement over their average results but nothing that is statistically significant.

Mr Dean has done one Tottenham game this year their 1-1 draw with Chelsea (third in a row which doesn’t seem to be a particularly good thing, I would rather see changes in referees for the same fixture).  Last year he did four:-

  1. Spurs v W Brom (1-1) – Overall rating 60% bias against 49/51 and no wrong Important Decisions
  2. Spurs v Chelsea (2-4) – Overall rating 85%, bias against 74/26 and one wrong Important Decision when he should have awarded a penalty to Spurs in Minute 30
  3. Spurs v Swansea (1-0) – Overall rating 89%, bias against 64/36 and no wrong Key Decisions
  4. Chelsea v Spurs (2-2) – Overall rating 78%, bias against 94/6 and one key wrong decision where Adebayor was offside in the build up to the Spurs goal in Minute 81 and the goal shouldn’t have counted.

Little therefore for Tottenham fans to fear his partiality. They have both won and drawn one game more under Mr Dean than the league average, and lost two fewer.

To sum up

  • 34 games since he last awarded a penalty for Arsenal (must be some kind of record) but will always look to award penalties against us.
  • Our players are far more likely to be sent off, but he will issue cards for opponents in the most blatant cases (seemingly he has limits to what he will accept).
  • Statistically we have a one in six chance of being allowed to win the game and a 1 in 2 chance of losing.
  • He will show far more leniency to Spurs players in the level of force they are allowed to use compared to Arsenal players.
  • Phantom fouls are likely to be called in Arsenal danger areas.

  1. What an amazing surprise, they send us Mike Dean against the Spuds. With our injury list, I worry about this one. Another PGMOL attempt to try and take us out of the top 4?
Quite apart from his historic dislike of Arsenal, his historic preference for the Spuds, this guy is a Liverpool supporter, along with Mike Jones, that will be 2 pool supporters in 2 EPL games. And just look at what Jones did against Stoke. Are they trying to tell us something? actually, that is a really stupid question. Time for a security bet

  2. Mike Dean: a Case Study in Cognitive Dissonance.
On the one hand he wants to be a good referee and on the other he hates Arsenal.
So on Arsenal match days the Mr Hide character wins … and we lose.

From a Gooner point of view, I quote the author of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde,Robert Louis Stevenson,
“There is something wrong with his appearance; something displeasing, something downright detestable”

And, more kindly, hoping that MD might read these I offer (also from RLS) and as a dire warning,
“I was slowly losing hold of my original and better self, and becoming slowly incorporated with my second and worse.”

    ..well, you never know

  3. Was Dean the ref who had betting issues, or am I confusing him with some other corrupt official?

  4. Thanks for the review. The subtitle made me laugh – it’s good to be able to laugh about these things from time to time. Keeps you sane.

Glad you reprinted the referee bias table with all the red. Good reminder for those who have forgotten it. Maybe news to some who never saw it before.

Have these two refs actually declared their Liverpool allegiance? Because if so it ought surely to be a relevant factor in choice of referee, especially this season. That is, if these things were done fairly, which of course they aren’t.

  5. Yes he was bjt, he was suspended as well. Seemed to favour arrys team as well, wonder why.
I really wish wenger had signed a new deal, the forces against him will now do anything they can to ensure he goes.

  6. Oh hell, Mike Shit Dean. I fear the worst. Andrew, your title may well refer to Kos, if the Dean has his way. Dean – always our most contentious official, with the face you could slap. C’mon boys, we can overcome this cheat.

  7. The title was Tony’s, he does them far better than me. I fear for Kos or TV5, whichever are playing.

  8. Thanks Mandy. In the days of yesteryear our friends in the States had an answer for an unwelcome visitor – ride him out of town on a rail!

Unfortunately in modern times we have no option but to tolerate the intolerable.

  9. Blimey…What a load of old TOSH.
Stats are stats are stats are stats.
You can make anything out of NOTHING.

Mike Dean is an honorable man doing a awfully difficult job. All you sad and frail conspiracy theorists need to accept that 911 was not an inside job, 1966 world cup was not fixed and nor was Iron Maiden reaching No1 in the singles chart.

Rough goes with the smooth….and sometimes its rougher.

    Life is like that.
Why the hell you lot are ranting that Mike Dean has an agenda?

Just support Le Boss and the team….

Bring home 3 points on Sunday.

  10. Our club should station a sniper in the stadium are blow Dean’s little bald head off as he approaches the stadium. NUFF SAID.

  12. @Hissy Fitt

Statistics can be useless, or they can be quite valuable.

If I write down the equations of motion for an idealised, monoatomic molecule, and then apply this to an assembly of say Avagadro’s number of atoms, I use statistics to draw information from this assembly. Temperature is a constant times the average kinetic energy (1/2 mv^2) of the molecules, and pressure is a constant times the average momentum (mv) of the molecules. For certain force laws, we can calculate closed form solutions to many thermodynamic quantities, but in general we either have to model things (Monte Carlo, Molecular Dynamics, …) or we need to use numerical integration and differentiation to approximate values at specific coordinates. Statistical mechanics is one name for this field of statistics.

There are people with backgrounds in statistical mechanics (or other fields) writing papers on various aspects of football. Look around arXiv for papers on football (sometimes called soccer).

  13. Hissy,, since Dean was actually suspended and he did not launch a lawsuit against the publication I shall choose to believe them rather than you

  14. After Dean’s baloney penalty against Alumnia at Old Trafford in August 2009, I started calling him “Vladimir Putin’s even more evil twin.”

Now, with this Ukraine crisis ongoing, I’m not so sure.

But he is still an Arsenal-hating See You Next Tuesday, and I hope we lay another fiver on the Spuds, so that even Fat Phil Dowd can’t steal it from us!

  15. Death

After Dean died, everyone gathered at his funeral. Then the minister started to speak: “He was a model husband, a decent man, a terrific father, a fine referee… ”
The widow then makes a motion for her son to come to her.
“What is it mother?” he whisper.
“Dear, go check the casket, I think we’re at the wrong funeral…”

  16. Love Thy Neighbors

“The new neighbors are so in love,” remarks Susan to her husband, “he hugs her, kisses her and strokes her hair. Why don’t you do that?”
“Because I don’t know her that well.”

  17. Qualities or some posters here …

    A woman asks her husband:
“What do you like about me the most? My beautiful face or my sexy body?”
The husband gives her a long, appreciating look.
    “Your sense of humor.”

  18. Donations or what I’d like to do certain posters !

    Knock on the door.
“Hello sir, would you like to contribute something to the old folks home?”
“Yes, actually.” Beams the old man.
“Inge, put your jacket on and pack a suitcase!”

  19. Came upon the article of a Gooner doing the noble thing for charity in the local Star newspaper today.
Finally something positive about the Arsenal!

    http://www.goonerontheroad.com/

Wish you well in you very noble endeavour ,Peter Anderson .God bless !

  20. As there is nothing we can do to straighten out Dean during the match, all we can do is try to win in spite of him.
We mustn’t worry over matters we cannot change.
Should his decisions be blatantly obvious, punitive action is bound to follow.

  21. less worried about. Dean and more worried that Ramsey’s injury has recurred. It is looking likely that for Totts, Chelski, Citeh and Swansea we will be without Ozil, Walcott, Wilshere and Rambo. A lot of pressure on the rest of them to be creative

  22. Yes, it is very worrying Blacksheep. Interesting wengers remarks on injury investigations….does he know something and is about to deal with it, is it all just lip service, a PR stunt, I really hope no stones are left unturned looking into this. On a purely business level, these injuries are costing us around fifteen million plus in wages per year….yes I know there will always be injuries, but ours are costly on all levels. And if we are not careful, they could end up costing even more this year, failure to win the cup, or at the very least a top four place, the knives unfortunately will be out.
Without pre-emotive lay blaming anyone, I really hope the club are doing all they can on this, no matter whose nose could be put out of joint. This is about the success of the club, and the careers of talented young professionals who we need to be fit and ready,

  23. @Blacksheep 63,
Someone said recently that our prolonged injury list is partially due to Arsene’s reluctance to use the rotation system with any enthusiasm.
Others have said that our players are built for speed not weight, our coaching isn’t right, our medics’ treatment is faulty and the first team squad is short in numbers.
Whatever the reasons, we cannot continue to lose key players at crucial times for prolonged periods and expect to prosper.
At the present time, the thought of being without Ramsey, Walcott, Wilshere and Ozil for ANY length of time is grievous news indeed.
An in-depth survey at the end of the season is called for, with no punches pulled. Something must be done.

  24. Very true Nicky. I hope the club leave no stone unturned, no matter whose nose gets put out of joint, this is not all down to bad luck, though bad refs undoubtedly play a part.
It is not just the seniors, our kids have exactly the same problems, I don’t have the stats, but frimpong, Ryo, young version of theo, Jack, Szcz and this lot http://news.arseblog.com/2013/09/injuries-mounting-for-arsenals-youngsters-as-hectic-schedule-awaits/ spring to mind.
Youngsters that have not been let near pgmol refs, and first teamers, there has to be something fundamentally wrong. I suspect if he is honest, wenger may have to at least look at coaching , fitness training, player rotation, squad depth in terms of players he trusts, and medics. He may even have to tear up his own rule book that has served him so well in the past, this is not a criticism, even the greats evolve from time to time.
Injuries are surely one of the main risks facing this club, this issue must be taken seriously for so many reasons

  25. Support, home and away, should at long last bring home-made red cards to the match, and be poised prepared to show them in an ocean of discontent at The Dean’s inevitable miscalls and non-calls. Visible show matters: The League won’t like such open displays of accurate condemnation among the customer pace. And whatever way the lenscrafters spin it, other fans of other clubs will also take heed and do the same when their clubs get the shaft. This dodgiest of Leagues cannot withstand the open display of widespread discontent, questioning its legitimacy. And, if nothing else, this “operation red card” could hasten the eventual adoption of video replay – the only effective remedy to the never-ending refshite/orcshite that we and any other out-of-favor club continually face.

  26. “As there is nothing we can do to straighten out Dean during the match, all we can do is try to win in spite of him. We mustn’t worry over matters we cannot change.
Should his decisions be blatantly obvious, punitive action is bound to follow.”
    Nicky,
Because punitive action never follows the likes of The Dean, I’ve suggested “operation red card” as something we can do in the course of the match itself, and to send a message to The Dean and his betters/bettors in Riley World and at League HQ. Perhaps you’d consider endorsing such an action rather than further hand-wringing and despair.

  27. Brickfields and Gord

Upon waking earlier than expected, and with no-one to ‘give a fk’, as usual, I fired up my device to see what’d appeared in the comments, overnight.

I had a good laugh at Brickfields joke-posts and then saw his 4:51 post about “goonerontheroad”. I clicked on the youtube file within and watched the Malay? Gooners singing.

That brought tears to my eyes!

The tears shocked me. I read a couple of Peter A’s posts, wondering why I was so emotional. I concluded that – from the time I noted Walter’s links to the Benelux group (2008?), I felt something special for Gooners who live outside Britain – their undying love of all things Arsenal. It’s like – they ‘get it’, these foreigners.

I was cross when I went to bed because I’d confirmed my hunch that Hissy Fit (HF) was a triple A, having read the post about “honourable man” Dean, and having already become highly suspicious with HF’s plea for ‘no BG jokes’, and the possibly accompanying implications of that, coupled with my thought: how could someone read this main article – and come to THAT conclusion?

I had an appt. to see someone about a health problem – nothing life threatening, but, really expensive solutions. Drat!

I arrive home and see Gord’s link to “This particular Star article”.

Wow. I’d no idea. How amazing is Peter Anderson, and what he’s doing? I’m so sorry about your mum, Peter. And I wish you all the best for the remainder of your trip, and life.

Gord: Despite my not previously hearing about most of the stuff in your 11:32 post, and therefore not understanding it, I loved it! If I can clear my home and mind, I’ll look into “average kinetic energy/Avagadro’s number of atoms/arXiv for papers on football – more. That post on its own was just so interesting, that even if it was complete BS, I’d still like to check. Having said that, I’m already 2 or 3 UA articles behind, so there’s already some catching up for me to do.

Also, Gord, coupled with your smiley thingys post/expanation – simply shows me what a good teacher you are. Thanks.

    COYG (including the foreigners).

  28. “The Dean and his betters/bettors in Riley World and at League HQ.”

    Classic, bob. Cheers.

  29. @ Gord – Yep ! That be the one. As I pointed out earlier ,a positive article on Arsenal and on a noble fan .

  30. @ Rantetta – That would be Malaysians . Many races here and all equally crazy about the EPL . Muchos locos !
There are many fan clubs ,but not a member of any .Nor in contact with any other fans other that on this website and a few close friends in my town who are also my lodge members .
I must also confess that I don’t know any of the Arsenal songs .
I just hope that like me they be patient and wait for their time at the main table. And what a lovely feast it shall be !
    Cheers !

  31. Mandy,
Imo, one of several antidotes is to be proactive in the transfer windows – especially the despised winter window – and stock up with Affordable Quality – to withstand the Inevitable onslaught of orcshite/refshite that continually targets our players. The investigation may turn up neglect or malfeasance, but a proactive move is to expect the worst will be thrown against us and to be ready for it with a quality bench. People lament that no one of quality will be happy to be here if they are to ride the bench. Of course not. But if we bow to that argument, then we will forever be put in the (injury-plagued) reactive position of facing seasoned champions with raw (if promising) youth in the major business-end matches. We cannot rest easy with an approach that ends up with Sanogo and Gnabry (however bright their individual futures) against the Bayerns of this world. This is not a knock on them. Rather it is a call to finally be prepared for the expectable worst (injury-wise, like now)

  32. Rantetta,
Greetings! I want to ask that you re-post that link to the orc who clipped Theo from behind. I think that it didn’t get enough attention here when you first posted it, and, if you would, we have a new (alas) rash of injuries where a deeper look might benefit from your finding – that is, Theo’s injury might not simply have been due to bad luck. Your link gives up some further thought for food and now’s a good time to re-consider that incident. Anyway, glad we’re still here in the good fight.

  33. Mandy,
And what if the investigation turns up a series of unflagged attacks on the injured players, whose cumulative weight was to cause injury, or the onset of injury, or to weaken them for the next kick that causes the injury? Will someone then remonstrate massively to the League? in public? press charges? If the Club/AW has gone public with this, then will they go public with the outcome, wherever the chips may fall. And, in addition to the investigation, I would hope that a reconsider- ation of the practical (if not necessary) value of the despised January window for necessary (given that we are deemed so eligible for attack at the business end of each season).

  34. You raise a valid point Bob. But in MF , think we are fairly well stocked for players, but in terms of firepower, we are extremely dependant on a single striker, though others chip in with goals. I would be amazed if we do not have four strikers at our disposal come the end of summer, OG, Sanogo, perhaps Campbell and one other….Remy? This would allow proper rotation. Think we also need to go into the season with four cbs and at least two LBs and RBs, maybe TV and BS unfortunately will need replacing. Rotation, and as you say squad depth and ways of dealing with these injuries if the club cannot or will not take on refs hire. The likes of Jack, Rambo, Ozil and others have been overplayed. I hope this does come into the root and branch injury review, I am sure it will. To fight on four fronts, you need a big squad of players that wenger trusts to play at any time, we do not yet have that.

  35. The Media, who are ultimately the Referees lords and masters, will back up every incorrect call made against us, and ridicule to death any that may go for us (fat chance).

So to suggest there will be ‘punitive’ action is deluded at best!!

  36. Gord

Some seem ok others not. Thanks anyway, at least I’ve some silliness to play with 🙂

  37. @jambug

If you use the “word” form, it is bounded on either end by full colons. Your “wink” has a semicolon at the end. : wink : 😉

    The last one, I believe is a lower case o : o 😮

I don’t remember seeing any wordpress smileys with a single quote in them.

  38. @Rantetta

    Thanks.

I certainly didn’t intend to put out BS. I have studied statistical mechanics from 3 points of view: chemistry, physics and materials science. And I’ve made a few kinds of computer simulations over the years.

Back to part 6 or 7 now.

  39. @bob,
Re your 3.34, rather than hand-ringing and despair, I have always favoured not worrying unduly about situations you cannot change.
I commend this attitude to you.

  40. bob

    Hi, again,
And thanks for your greetings, and of course, your contributions.

My 1st thought re: your request that I re-post Theo’s injury, was that I’d posted no such thing. I’ve now spent well over an hour going back through articles. As I clicked – back, and back, and infinitely, bloody back, I wondered where the tinies match even was! I tried the search box, with wrong clues, obviously.

Then I came across an article I’ve never fully read- such was the extent to which it made my blood boil.

“What exactly does a referee want out of a game?”

No. I’m not linking back to this article by the usually excellent Don. Put the title into the search box and it’ll come up, innit.

Before I re-post the lovely pics, I’d like to re-post comments from other Untolders, from that article, which I’ll concede – may have been a good un, but it Fk’d me off big-time. Just me, then!:

Terrible news guys. Theo out for 6 months at least, ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. Just announced on the radio, it is official by the sound of it, not speculation.

Walter, the injury for Walcott is as you feared.

I don’t know about the refs but I’d like to see some protection for Arsenal players.
Two kicks in the build up to Walcott’s tackle and injury mentioned by the gaffer. If the referee had called those focus would he have been injured. Who is the real loser from the refs, Arsenal or England (Lennon? Dear god, please no, have mercy on our souls)?

Similar injury to Chamberlains, although in that case Chambo dived in after the ref had allowed the game to completly spiral out of control. And Walcott’s injury is more serious. I suppose it’s a good thing that he’s out for the WC and will have the whole Summer for some serious rehab.

Good luck theo. Unfortunately we do not do injuries by half. We have others to cover him but maybe not as prolific at scoring as theo.
He certainly was not in the red zone. Maybe it was the kicks, or a result of running awkwardly after them but wish we would look into these injuries, cannot reel out stats but we do seem to get a lot of serious knee injuries.
Ox and gnabry will have an important few months

Before the tackle Theo attempted to make on Rose, he had had his left ankle trod on minutes earlier by…. Chiriches(?). He was down for about a minute or two, and the commentators initially said he went down with no contact but then replays showed the spuds player clearly stepping on his ankle. I’m not entirely sure of the chain of events after that but it appeared the only other attempt Theo made to get the ball after that incident was the Rose challenge which then left him in a heap. Not sure if the damage had been done in the initial foul, or if he had had some damage and then aggravated it with the challenge on Rose? Hard to tell coz the incidents were so close to each other.
    Sad for Theo.

    Mandy,
Many thanks for that link on ‘dancing dean’, it is so funny and so obvious that he was disappointed Swansea lost the ball after his attempt to give the an advantage

When I saw that vicious stamp on Theo’s leg I knew he’d end up with the same or a different injury. It wasn’t even called a foul and yet it should’ve been a red card:

Retrospective action anyone? Nah, let’s talk about tw14 making a 2 nil gesture that threatened lives. You cunting scumbags. I hope karma catches you all.

I’m livid about Theo. Heal well.

“PGMOL has deliberately instructed its employees to ignore that directive, and the injury to Theo is a direct result of that advice.” – Gord
“… why it can operate outside FIFA or even law courts for their poor performance and lack of modern accountability. – Nelson Wong

Gentlemen, Perhaps there is a legal basis here for an actual law suit, or at least a strategy to have the PGMOL enforce its rules and cease and desist from its demonstrable selective mistreatment and devaluing of AFC’s assets, and to the point of diminishing their value and what paying customers are getting back, etc., etc.
Gord, is there a link or quote you could bring that shows how they instructed their minions to ignore the rule?
Nelson, is there no legal precedence for suing PGMOL? Not one?

  43. Some strange decisions today, City have Kompany sent off & Chekski have two sent off, I am not complaining, but the norm is both these teams get away with a lot if not quite everything.

Are today’s send offs designed to make dancing Dean look normal if and when he shafts us tomorrow?

  44. Here to Tim “the Gooner” Sherwood proactively negating any nefarious tendencies by Mike Dean.

  45. Rantetta,
Really Grateful for your bringing all this insight and well-placed anger forward to the present moment. It seems that AW’s statement of a day ago that Theo’s injury was down to “luck” may not be accurate. Perhaps this is done for reasons unknown, or it will be picked up (hopefully) in the investigation. There’s more here than is being recalled, and, of course, it’s all dwarfed (hence, erased) by the focus on the 2-0 “controversy”. Theo’s being cut down by non-calls is the real controversy here. Cheers. 🙂

  46. The U21s were beaten in their semi-final cup game, 1-3 (versus Reading). Joel Campbell is at Olympiakos; well Olympiakos won their league today, with 5 games yet to play. No mention of Joel in the report I seen.

  47. I am about to call it a day. I guess we have a potential surprise for the lineup tomorrow, as Kim Kallstrom may be fit enough. There are still too many news articles which talk about how long it has been since we got a trophy. Bleech!

I’m hoping for a tie in the early game, and an Arsenal win.

    COYG!

  48. all u conspiracy theorists and stat lovers….

THERE GOES YOUR INEPT AND PATHETIC ARGUMENT ABOUT MIKE DEAN…..

    COYG
