What this shows is that although Xhaka and Maitland-Niles will probably be back after the weekend, Mkhitaryan is out for the season, which really is a shame and a half.
The commentary from the more scurrilous blogs is that they wish Mustafi was not playing. The word seems to be that Ramsey has travelled and is expected to play. And while we are doing the round up, it is interesting to hear that Giroud has scored once for Chelsea in seven games. That issue has been raised by the Metro.
And apparently Arsenal supporters at the match have been warned about going out looking for adventures.

Ramsey was stepped on his calf. Jack is being stupid as usual with holding on to the ball for too long and attracting kicks to his ankles.
The officials do not seem to be bothered by the trailing boots that step on Arsenal players. This must be the third or fourth late step after the ball has gone. They don’t look deliberate but there is an obvious technique.
