“Arsenal fans are convinced that one of their stars is about to sign a new contract”
The story is that Milan was Jovic but Arsenal are now offering Aubameyang in a straight swap for Luka Jovic. Jovic has been on our list of rumours for a while now.
Part 2: Upgrading the youngster
HITC tell us that “Arsenal have their own James Maddison as 18-year-old reportedly trains with first-team”
He’s a “Teenage midfielder” (in case you missed that) who has “spent some time training with Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad at Arsenal” according to Goal being quoted by HITC being quoted by us.
And the Sun says that we ere trying to get “Leicester City talisman James Maddison. But, with a £90 million price-tag on his head…” So its the kid we’ve already got instead.
Not too exciting these two since they are already on our list of 77 players tipped to be coming to Arsenal his summer. But TransferSport Witness says we are “leaning towards” getting them. They note that, “Arsenal ‘do not lose sight’ of Athletic Bilbao defender Unai Núñez but are focusing on a move for Reims defender Axel Disasi first.” (We’ve already got Disasi in the 77 also).
And the big new is Mikel Arteta personally contacted the mother and agent of Adrien Rabiot, although Newcastle, Everton and Manchester United are interested.
There therefore seems to be more chance of getting defender Unai Nunez
4.2 Update – Dembele and Draxler
HITC also tell us that Arsenal have been given the go ahead to buy Dembele for £53m, even though he cost £129 in 2017.
As for Draxler, the PSG winger has also been mention before but the
4.3 NEW Ousseynou Ba
They add, “Arsenal are known to be looking for a centre-back, as they aim to strengthen at the back for next term.”
Which raises the question, does anyone in the real world call next season “next term”?
4.4 NEW: Nicolo Barella
Part 5 Leaving home
Torreira is reported as being in a “bad mood” and “love” a move away – at least that is what
Arsenal have been offered Franck Kessie in a swap dealPart 6 The nonsense –
Planet Football seems to have got the idea that all these stories are in fact made up and are indeed mindless gibberish. I can’t understand how this gets around. Anyway they have listed a group of players rumoured to be coming to answer and who are not – an interesting twist. Here they are
NEW Gerson
A midfielder who joined Roma in January 2016, only to flop and going back to Brazil with Flamengo where he has “rediscovered his verve”. The player’s father then said Arsenal are now interested but the father says his lad is happy where he is.
NEW Chiesa
He’s with Fiorentina, he’s a winger and has been linked with Juventus, Inter, Chelsea and Manchester United, as well, but do we need another winger?
NEW Giacomo Bonaventura
Arsenal were linked with Bonaventura two years ago, since which the midfielder has had a serious knee injury. But he is out of contract at the end of the season and Atalanta, Fiorentina, Roma and Lazio are interested we are told including by the Sun.
Update Nabil Fekir
He nearly went to Liverpool in 2018, and the Star says Arsenal are talking with Real Betis over signing him. He plays in midfield although Marca say he’d only leave to go to Barcelona (now reported out of cash) or Real Madrid
NEW James Rodriguez
We were told last year he could leave Real Mad for free, and the Mail are promoting this story again.
So that’s it. The last list of 77 players who were are signing (reportedly) is given (rather logically we feel) under

It’s all nonsense. The only reliable source for Arsenal transfer information, in or out, is the team itself. Anybody who refuses to accept this is dumb enough to be a Tottenham fan.
Sorry to diverge but could anyone tell me how to log on to the ACLF site. I lost it recently and now the page is unobtainable.
At 96 I am still not using the internet to more than 20% of its capacity……so please make any advice simple!
Nicky,
ACLF is no longer operational. The DNS record no longer exists on the internet. I think Yogi’s Warrior passed away at the beginning of January.
Seismic,
Most grateful for your reply. I knew YW had had a serious operation a year or so ago.
I always read ACLF and Untold, daily, and now one has hit the dust.
Hope someone else will take on the site……. if only to keep Tony and Co on their toes!
