Players tipped to come to Arsenal reaches 66: the full list

The kindest thing to say to the increasingly desperate journalists and bloggers running the transfer rumours is, “you’re having a laugh”.  The tragedy is they portray the image of deadly seriousness.

The stunning success of Arsenal after the audacious tactical change that we’ve outlined so often everyone is now bored with it, is ignored.

The fact that even the most outrageous idiot-journalist isn’t tipping Arsenal to buy more than eight players.  And so far they have 66 rumours recorded this window.

And still there is not one thought for the post-Brexit transfer arrangements mean bringing in European players is now a lot more difficult.  Nor that pesky home-grown quota.  As noted exclusively here (because no one else wants to admit it) we are way down on home grown players but already full up with foreigners.  So for every foreign grown player entering, we are going to have to kick another one out.  And the journalists are saying that our players are so poor that it is unclear who is going to give us anything like a decent price.

The Daily Star is the latest to offer a new Arsenal starting XI.  So where are all those other transfers going to fit in???
