In today’s tales from beyond the real world we have five players being newly reported as coming to Arsenal with seven who have been reported before, having new updates added by the excited media.
In terms of players leaving we have two new names and five updates.
Our survey takes in 232 reports of Arsenal wanting to buy players and 93 reports of players being sold. The current totals are that Arsenal are intereseted in buying 61 players and selling 25 others.
The “Arsenal buying” numbers are way down on the same time last summer, and since 97% of these stories are simply made up can only mean that journalists are spending far too much time drinking in the public houses rather than discussing new stories they can make up and share.
It really isn’t good enough and marks a serious decline in the volume of fiction being generated by the media. Here is the list of players Arsenal are said to be seeking to buy…
