We now have 59 players tipped by the all-knowing media as being close to coming to Arsenal and 22 who are leaving.

Most summers the number of players who actually do come to Arsenal out of those tipped by the media, total two percent of the total number tipped as incoming.  Which on that basis would mean that one of these 59 will actually make it.  Since one of the 59 is David Raya who was on loan last season and became the top-rated keeper of the season, we might guess this one is right, and quite possibly all the rest are wrong.   

Still even if so we’ve only wasted one posting on the list while much of the media is posting these names day after day after… well you know…

Since the media have already got rid of most of our current squad the number adding to the list of players leaving is inevitably declining.
