Arsenal injury update: when are injured players coming back?

Over the past few years, Arsenal has been dealing with quite a lot of injuries, and that alone has become rather problematic for the team. But thankfully, they are focused on trying to bring back some of the top players. However, some of them are ways off from coming back. If you’re into football betting and want to know more about what players will be coming back soon, here’s all the info available.

Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel had a torn ACL and that alone ended up being a major challenge as he tries to get back and play for Arsenal. Right now, he is training on grass, but he’s not named in the squad, at least for the time being. There’s no exact return date, but he is expected to return either late 2025 or sometime early in 2026. It will depend on the overall recovery process and other similar things that we can expect from his training. But he’s one of the players set to come back very soon.

Kai Havertz

Kai just had a single Arsenal presence this year, mainly because he had severe knee problems. The upside here is that he did have knee surgery in August. The update is that he is months away from coming back. He is moving pretty well, but he’s still not there yet. So while he is set to return in late 2025, there’s no specific date available right now. And, depending on what the medical team says, he might even be pushed to 2026, so it’s hard to tell right now.

Piero Hincapie

Just like Kai Havertz, Piero just had a single substitute appearance for Arsenal after coming from Bayern Leverkusen. In his case, the reason why he was out was a groin problem. Apparently, though, the groin problem is not as major of an issue now, and he is set to come back shortly. In fact, by the time this article goes online, he could be already back. If not, he’s definitely set to play soon, so that’s something to consider.

Nomi Madueke

Nomi had a great time playing for the Emirates, but unfortunately, the knee injury took the best of him and he was sidelined for quite some time. He was in the Manchester City match in September, but apparently around half time he was not feeling ok. He is set to return sometime in November. At least that’s the potential return date that they have for him. In the end, he is also one of the players that will most likely come back very soon.

However, we should note the fact that Madueke was not named in the England squad. That being said, Thomas Tuchel suggested that they might bring him instead of Bukayo Saka, if he is fit. The tentative early November date is definitely sounding better, but who knows, only time can tell if he comes back. Considering his track record, we might expect him to be back and crush it with a great performance.

Martin Odegaard

Odegaard is the captain and unfortunately he has a recurring shoulder injury that continues to be rather problematic. He returned against West Ham before the international break took place. But during that match, he clashed knees with an opponent, so he needed a replacement. That being said, he also withdrew from the Norway team during the qualifier matches and a friendly against New Zealand.

Is he going to come back soon? That’s hard to say, obviously a knee clash can lead to serious damage, or it can be only slightly problematic. It’s very difficult to know at this time, but the doctors are investigating. It’s said that he suffered a medial collateral ligament injury. These can  be very challenging to recover.

Apparently, there is no specific timeline to take into account, but there is a report stating that he will be back after the November international break. So yes, he might come back in the Tottenham match on November 23rd, or sometime after that. He is still at least a month out from the time of this writing. And he might take a bit more to recover, depending on how fast that process will go. A lot of people expect him to come back, but these injuries can lead to underlying problems sometimes. So yes, we’ll have to see when he is cleared, but for now, there’s only a tentative date.

Conclusion

Clearly, there are plenty of injured players at this time, and Arsenal is doing its best to try and figure out a solution. With that in mind, most of the injured players are set to come back by the end of the year. There are some that could take until 2026 to come back. However, Arsenal needs to get creative and figure out replacements, just to ensure that the game continues and they maintain the best possible performance.
