Which clubs suffer most from player injuries

We might notice that three of the four top teams are in London, and this coincides with the fact that London teams are often portrayed by northern managers and journalists as being soft.  But we might also note in passing that the majority of PL referees come from the north.

Now that observation about refereeing points of origin does not prove a bias on the part of referees depending on where they come from, but it is another point we might observe when considering a topic on which it seems so hard to get fulsome data.

However, we might note with a little bit of a smile that Tottenham’s latter-day head coach did not see as many injury issues as Ange Postecoglou did.  Perhaps he learned something en route.
