1. well considering he gave his farewell, the rumours of Trossard leaving us are true.
   I hate the thought. I just loved that player.
   Then again, as upset as my unsignificant self may be, I can see the reasons :

   one year left on his contract, past 30 years, Arsenal had the best (and how good were they) years of his career.
   They get a nice profit that goes straight to making the PSR position better.
   He most probably gets a very good contract from Besiktas for a few years after that PL Title and the impressive World Cup games. Good for him.

   So in the end, a good – and fair – deal for both sides.

   I hope Martinelli stays however. Seeing him playing the midfield for Brazil – and being good at – it suddenly opens up possibilities for the future line-ups.

   I hope the rumours of Santi Cazorla coming home to Arsenal as a coach are true. This is one thing about Arsenal that is different and makes Arsenal a better club : the players are coming back and helping build the next Arsenal. And Santi is a man of talents and character.

2. Also Aleksey Batrakov reported Arsenal, Everton and PSG are interested in him by Football whispers.com for £21m. But as you say 97% untrue, which means at least one is perhaps true, with probably all 100% wrong in their weird mixed evaluations to go with their made up news.

   Chris. I agree with you that Trossard will be sadly missed, he was one of my favourites and always brought that added intelligence and skill to the team.

   Not all have played in the world cup much but those that did, most of the for mentioned names have shown inconsistent levels during the world cup, but there are a couple one being Tzolis has been consistent. Arteta has those and probably a lot more to choose from, we have faith in his decisions.

   I know you joked about the size of the squad, but you probably already know that their are exceptions to the 25 man limit, with certain under 21 year old players being accepted over the 25 man limit with also emergency goalkeepers, and of course Arteta has the emergency option of switching out long term injured players when the situation arrives by deregistration and registering replacements for those long term injured players when the re-register window opens during the season.
   Too complicated for me to discuss further involving European rules and domestic rules that differ.

   Anyway, as long as it improves the team, helps with the 60 game fatigue, expected injuries and we can legally afford them within the rules and win the title again, then the more it makes sense. It’s our injury record, and the fact that we have low ref protection and that most teams play dirty against us, that makes me lean towards being happy with a big quality squad to cover the for mentioning events.

   I hope some of those players include promoted academy players that come under the 21 year old rules. Young Dixon at 2nd choice backup to the injury prone rightback position for one, which we suffered with last year.
   Also who knows how fit our team will be returning from this world cup.

3. FIFA have outdone themselves tonight. Sporting integrity is in the toilet.

4. So far not really got into the transfer fever , but do admit that am interested in whom the Totts are going to , or are expected to sign . It shows me that quite a few players are going downhill in their choices ! Or that they really want to play badly for them !
