- William Saliba is ready and Arsenal seem to be on a roll
- Arsenal v Slavia Prague – close encounters of the first kind
- So exactly why do so many people hate Arsenal so much?
I am sorry that Untold Arsenal has not been available for a few days – I think we are back in order now, but because of the lateness of the time before the game I will just go to the teams….
Saka remains out, Saliba is back in the frame, and Arsenal have enough flexibility to make this look straightforward. Often, that is the point.

Now the fact that there is such a variety here with four different line ups (and there are more available on the internet) shows how good and varied Arsenal’s buying has been in recent seasons allowing players to drop out of contention with injury and then not be rushed back because there are others available to come in and take their place.
Thus a player dropping out now is not dropping out because of a shortage of players but to allow for rotation, to ensure no minor injuries get worsened, and everyone manages to get a game as the squad rotates. Of course if we get to the semi-final we will by then be seeing and knowing our best XI but even then we will have the option of further rotations, just to keep the opposition guessing.
The Guardian seems to be making some clear projections at the moment and says, “Arteta backs Saliba’s readiness to return for Arsenal at Slavia Prague. Incidentally it seems that Liverpool are going on and on moaning and moaning about Arsenal’s behaviour on the pitch. Arteta came back three a three word reply:
- “I have clips”
I am hoping and hoping we have now got the bugs out of our system and can return to our normal publishing schedule. If the erratic appearance of the blog has annoyed you I am sorry. You can’t imagine what it has been doing to me.
