29 players are looking to sign for Arsenal and 18 are tipped to leave this summer

By Sir Hardly Anyone

One of the prime reasons for the media wanting to tell us that Arsenal is in crisis, and that the fact that the last two thirds of the season was not a brilliant period for the club, is because it gives them plenty to write about.

We’ve noted here how some websites are putting out Arsenal transfer rumours more or less ever 90 minutes day and night – and of course they can’t do that if it is agreed that the club is doing well, and so does not need replacements.

So they continue to pour out the comings and goings, and just to see if they can exceed their previous record of three out of every 100 transfers correct, we’re keeping track once again.

Footnotes:

The Mirror, The Express, the Daily Record, Daily Star, Daily Record, and Football London – plus some 20 other titles are all owned by the same company: Reach plc.  Isn’t that strange.

Last year 97 in each 100 rumours we noted turned out to be untrue.

3 Replies to “29 players are looking to sign for Arsenal and 18 are tipped to leave this summer”

  1. All this rumors is because Mikel Arteta is not doing well otherwise they will not what to write because there will be no room for rumors he who fetch firewood full of ants invite the lizards if everyone is not seeing that Arteta is not doing well I am seeing it that he is not doing well on his own he has no best eleven any player the media write about he will go for him his only good in condemning good players like Goundoezi and William Saliba and yet he is looking for under 19 players to players will we die in feeders every year is not time for us to come out with a strong team

  2. OK George: “All this rumors is because Mikel Arteta is not doing well”
But for the second two thirds of the season he was doing brilliantly – the second best manager in the league. And those rumours only started recently. Odd isn’t it.

  3. The irony of Guendouzi to Brighton is not lost on me. He will be able to link up with his buddy – Maupay.

HITC say that a Bissouma/Guendouzi swap deal with bring the “rice” down.

    Anybody fancy a curry?
