On this page we have rumours number 65 to 124, making this now the transfer window with the most rumours ever since we started covering them about 12 years ago.
What’s interesting is just how shameless this all is. The newspapers and websites that come up with these stories know that about 97% of them will be untrue, because that is how it has been this year and every year for the past decade or more.
But following each other’s lead they have resolutely decided that Arsenal need a complete new squad. Or as World Soccer Talk said, “Arsenal could bring in as many as 8 players this summer …” Or as Forbes said, “Arsenal Need To Strengthen These 6 Positions In The Summer Transfer Window”.
