30 players tipped to come to Arsenal; 19 players tipped to leave

By Sir Hardly Anyone

Last summer’s 136 Arsenal transfers were predicted by the media.  You can read about them here: Part one; Part two.

Below is the latest edition of the list of players deemed by the all-seeing and usually totally inaccurate media that report such matters, to be coming to and going from Arsenal this summer.  Last summer the self-same media had a success rate of 3% out of the 136 players that they nominated.

Now you might have thought that after a failure rate of 97% in their predictions the media might pull out of the transfer prediction business, but no.  It is a form of journalism that requires little other than an over-excited imagination, so without any mention for last summer’s failures, they are back with their predictions once again.  This summer’s accuracy rate is expected to be lower than last year.

This is what we have so far…

  1. Fred – the answer is that this is the cheapest journalism available. No research, no costs, can be written in 30 seconds, churn them out a dozen a day.

  2. It’s so exciting, I can’t wait for the transfer window to open and we sign 100 players.
