A study of football media transfer rumors a few years ago concluded that 94% of such had little or no basis in fact whatsoever. Thank you, Tony, for once again reminding us that “water is wet.” No doubt this is the tip of another vast media conspiracy against God’s own club, Arsenal FC.
I won’t believe any of these rumours until it’s confirmed by ace reporter Tashan Deniran-Alleyne on Football.London.
What an extraordinary comment Dizbuster. First, the listing of football rumours is undertaken each year by Untold Arsenal, although we’ve never once found an accuracy rate of 6%. Last year was an all time record high at an accuracy rate of 3%. Second I’ve never suggested that this is a conspiracy against Arsenal. Are you suggesting this? If so, I guess you’d have to do the same thing for a few other clubs. If you have done that it would be worth seeing.
If not, and given your inaccuracy, I think you’re talking bunkum.
Do The Athletic recruit their writers from football.london? A little digging seems to indicate that this is the case. I certainly wouldn’t pay a subscription for that.
