The 67 players Arsenal want to sign and 24 tipped to leave

Part 1: The players Arsenal are planning to buy – according to the media.

Yes it looks all change at Arsenal this summer, according to the media.   Of course that is what they said last summer, and the summer before and…  Each time they have been hopelessly wrong, getting only between 1 and 3 percent of their predictions right.

Will these journalists manage to get it right this time, or are they in for another summer of failure?  We shall in due course, find out.   The window opens in six weeks time.

One Reply to “The 67 players Arsenal want to sign and 24 tipped to leave”

  1. Reiss has scored – again – for Feyenoord yesterday, not even 3 days after doing extremely well against Marseille in the “Conference League” semi-finals
He could have had at least one assist but one of his cutbacks – he does that very often, and very well too – was wasted away by Dessers, the Feyenood CF
As for the goal he scored, I liked his run behind the Fortuna back-four a lot; he doesn’t do that often enough, which is a shame since he has all it takes to be very effective in 1 v. 1 against goalies ((he’s cool calm, collected under those circumstances, as for his technique it is just top-class – period)
I know this may be regarded as anathema by many Arsenal fans, but I think Reiss and Emil are simply better football players than Marti (even though I understand how appealing Marti’s “Road Runner” style can be)
Reiss is versatile too, he is comfortable on either wing, and I suspect he would shine as a playmaker if given the chance too – but I fear as soon as he’s back to Colney, he’ll be shown the door, which I just find … insane
