Yes it is the time of the year when the Daily Mirror doesn’t actually know what it is doing (although actually in that regard every day is that time of the year when it comes to the Mirror) when it is able to run two utterly contradictory headlines on the same day.
What’s more, after a season of being told that Arsenal are not good enough because the squad is too small we are now told, “Arsenal’s big squad means you might have forgotten some of these players still play for the club. An uncertain summer awaits some.” That is from Football.London, owned by the same people as own the Mirror. What a funny bunch of ne’er-do-wells these fellows are!
