The players Arsenal are signing this summer

The media is pumping out names of players that Arsenal are going to sign in the summer but thus far there seems to be an absolute reluctance to charge toward the 100+ players that have been tipped as certainly on their way to Arsenal in previous summers.
Maybe the knowledge that in the past four seasons the highest accuracy level we have seen of these predictions is 3%. The worst was 2%. So although putting in the names of players who Arsenal are certainly going to sign, and then blaming the club for being too slow or too mean with the cash when it doesn’t happen, is an easy way of filling up space, the credibility of those doing the tipping sinks lower and lower until there is no credibility left.
Indeed even the old game of blaming another website as being the source seems to be wearing off, although maybe there really aren’t that many players that the pundits can invent.
But since they absolutely won’t cover the story about how Arsenal are simply not getting the penalty awards that other clubs get.

Meanwhile, the first dozen players to be tipped to be going to Arsenal in the summer are now listed below. Remember the success rate of these tipsters in recent years has been 2 to 3% so even at the top level there is a one-third of one percent chance that one of these tips might be right.
