Arsenal transfer targets reach 47. Nine players leaving (maybe)

In our last review we looked at how much Arsenal have spent in recent transfer windows.   What we can see from the current set of transfer rumours is that the media now think Arsenal are going to go beserk on spending while breaking any chance of coming in under FFP rules.   Such expenditure would of course lead to a massive points deduction – so massive in fact that relegation would be a certainty.

This would seem to be what the media want – for they seem to have lost all restraint in terms of predicting who Arsenal are signing.  In fact we are seeing more and more negative pieces about Arsenal being very slow and not signing enough players.   And that seems to be the media’s background message: Arsenal so spend, spend, and spend again and be deducted so many points that relegation is a certainty.

Still at least we know where they stand.  Here is the list of the 47 players Arsenal have so far allegedly enquired about…
