On the first day of Christmas,
my True Love sent to me
a team called Arsenal FC.

On the second day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
the library at Highbury
and the first game ever live on TV.

On the third day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me.
Three glorious Doubles,
Victoria Concordia Crescit,
and a book by Nicky Hornby.

On the fourth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
the…. famous back four,
three Musketeers,
Two Golden Shoes,
and the legend that was “Bertie” Mee.

On the fifth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshire
Chuks Aneke and the famous youth Academy

On the sixth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
Six Cups with Herbie,
Five cups with Tommy,
Four Cups with Georgie,
Three Cups with Bertie,
Two doubles with Arsene,
And  the Wengerian Philosophy.

On the seventh day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
that save by Willow
that goal by Thierry
that pass by Liam
that tackle by Patrick
that strike by Robin
Anything by Dennis
A state of self sustainability.

On the eighth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
Dennis Bergkamp, David Rocastle, Liam Brady, Robert Pires
Clifford Baston
Johnny Radford,
Ian Wright, And of course David O’Leary

On the ninth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
Frank McLintock
Doug Lishman
Ted Drake
Jimmy Brain, Dennis Compton
Charlie George
Emmanuel Petit
Herbert Chapman
A man called Thierry Henry…

On the tenth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
Endless hours of pleasure
Years of anticipation
Interlull depression
Seven Spuds a squirming
Moments of ecstasy
A sense of belonging
Forty four years supporting
Memories amassing
A little frustration
And the first ever radio commentary.

On the eleventh day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me
the all conquering Arsenal ladies FC,
Twelve Premier Leagues
Eleven FA Cups
Ten League Cups
Nine Doubles or better, Eight years professional, One scintillating  Sextuple
Fifty Six   Cups in total , Five Years Unbeaten
Four terrific Trebles
Three  Euro Cups
Two  Reebok Cups.
And  of course Rachel Yankee

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my Arsenal sent to me, Thirteen League Titles
Twelve Charity Shields, Eleven Gunners Blazing
Ten F A Cups
Forty Nine games unbeaten
Eighty four seasons and counting
Seven Youth FA Cups
Six pence to start it
Fifteen years of Arsene
Fourteen Years in Europe,
Three delicious doubles,
Twenty Seven major trophies,
And a season of invincibility!
