According to the BBC today, “Arsenal are set to miss out on signing PSV Eindhoven and the Netherlands forward Donyell Malen, 22, after he reached an agreement to join Borussia Dortmund as a replacement for Jadon Sancho.”

So yet another to add to the list…….although “missing out” on someone we’ve never actually been linked to is perhaps taking things to extremes!!

Malen was of course one of our youngsters who we allowed to escape. I’m not sure that he offers anything more than the other youngsters who we still have on our books. I just hope we had a sell on clause so that we get some further income.

    Another for your list.
According to The Metro we have joined the race to sign Tammy Abraham from Chelsea. This apparently originally comes from the Telegraph.
Our poor transfer team must be getting knackered with all these races they are entering.

Is entering the race a step beyond “eyeing” or “keeping tabs on”?

111 numbers of new players link with Arsenal for signings in this summer transfer window that’s still has over months to close are to me a kind of over rumoured Arsenal summer transfer rumours in the media. But that shouldn’t be a surpluse as it has become the norm in the media exaggerate Arsenal transfer rumours every window.

Nut whatever is it that’s going be the final numbers of new players whom Arsenal will sign this summer. The new incomings may not be not more than 6 in numbers. A new RB if Bellerin leaves. A centreback to replace the departed David Luiz. A new LB in Nuno Taveres who has already been brought in. A new midfield enforcer and a new play maker who are yet to be recruited. And a new striker signing that is yet to be signed too.

I think with these 6 new recruitment done if they are recruited this summer by Arsenal to bolster Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal first team squad, who of course should all be of the top quality grade kinds with good resale value. I believe Arsenal will be home and dry in the Premier League campaign come next season.

But who should those 6 new incomer signings be is a job left to Arteta, Edu and Carrick to make a very good job of it for Arsenal this summer.

And I think they are on their ways already at doing that as a new midfielder in Lokonja is reportedly looking will soon be on the Arsenal books very soon in addition to Taveres who is already on their books. And hopefully, Ben White will soon join them.

But will Okwonko be a good backup to Leno? If Arteta and Edu this he will be. Then it’s okay. But if he wouldn’t, the new incomings to Arsenal this summer cloud reach 7 in numbers. For, the club will have to sign a new top quality grade goalie as well. But maybe he will be Onana who they will sign I don’t know.

And of course a clear out of a good number of some Gunners will also take place at the club this summer too. And this exercise is already taking place there at the club.

Why is it we are being asked to pay over inflated prices when looking to buy but our players seem to be under valued when we look to sell.
EG Sander Berge £35 million, Xhaka £15-20 million.
Seems cockeyed to me given their respective quality.

According to Football365 Arsenal are still hopefull of getting Odergaard and are ready to ‘pounce’.
Yesterday we were going to ‘swoop’ on Koopmeiners, today we are about to swoop.
I have visions of Arteta hiding behind a tree and ‘pouncing’ out on an unsuspecting Odergaard as he walks home with a pint of milk from the local shops in Madrid.
Or Edu mid-air hanging on to a kite and ‘swooping’ down on a terrified Koopmeiners whilst he walks from the training ground.
