37 players Arsenal tipped to buy this summer and 20 men “set to leave”

As we have done for a number of years, Untold is recording the names of players that the highly esteemed English media report as being on the move – both incoming and outgoing.   As ever those players who have been added or had more details revealed in terms of the transfer are so note in the first column.

For the first time in four windows Zaha is not on the list! But nonetheless, we have 36 players coming to Arsenal and 20 players “set to leave” as these journo chappies love to say.

But you might note how players newly added all cluster around a certain part of the alphabet.  This is what happens each year, and it looks as if the journalists are just working through an alphabetical index of footballers – but of course I am sure there is more to it than that.

Just one other point: the window isn’t yet open.  But this is what we have so far…

Leaving Arsenal

HITC Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are unlikely to block Kieran Tierney from leaving for Real Madrid if the price is right, according to The Sunday Post.

The report has claimed that Spanish and European giants Madrid are planning on making a bid of £50 million for the former Celtic left-back.
