Read and believe, 26 incidents in 94 minutes, less than 1 every 3 minutes, yes this was the EPL.

Was it the exertions of high pressure games a few days earlier, were Chelsea expecting a pushover? I don’t know, but I could not fathom the lack of effort from Chelsea. The game lacked quality, passion and commitment.

In truth they could have called a guy out of the local pub to ref this one, and he would have got 50%. perhaps because it was such a dreary non event of a match Atkinson decided not to book anyone. but the laws are the laws and he was charitable on two occasions.

  1. I have to agree with alot of you about Cahill. He won’t be a first teamer with Terry and Luis ahead of him, if he had joined us, he wouldn’t have got in ahead of Koscielny or The Verminator. Cahill has had a poor season, but then again he has been in a poor side. So Chelsea have £150m to blow this window? Lucky them. What do we have? A player who was shipped out 4 years ago for being “past it”?? Don’t get me wrong, I love Thierry Henry for the player he was, but we should be looking forward, not backwards…

  3. When the wrong decisions even out then well you can say it evens out. Alas this is something we don’t see every day.
