No sooner are we getting used to working out which players might be crocked in the Euros this summer than another competition gets underway where once again the risk is run of players being chopped down, injured, played when injured and then handed back with a note saying “make sure he is ok for the next match”.

For tonight we have the start of the Copa America, which being a South American tournament is of course being played in North America – largely it seems because North America also has the World Cup coming its way.

So that means a couple more Arsenal players will be liable to get injured while not playing for Arsenal.  In this case we have, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel named in Brazil’s squad.

The defenders for Brazil in full are Marquinhos (PSG), Danilo (Juventus), Eder Militao (Real Madrid), Gabriel (Arsenal), Guilherme Arana (Atletico Mineiro), Bremer (Juventus), Wendell (Porto), Yan Couto (Girona), Lucas Beraldo (PSG)

And the Brazil attack is made up of

Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid), Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Raphinha (Barcelona), Pepe (Porto), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Savio (Girona), Endrick (Palmeiras), Evanlison (Porto).

In England the middle of the night games are being shown on Premier Sports.

The opening games for Brazil with times given in British Summer Time are

Tuesday, June 25: Brazil v Costa Rica: Los Angeles | 2am

Saturday, June 29: Paraguay v Brazil; Las Vegas | 2am

Wednesday, July 3; Brazil v Colombia San Jose | 2am

If you really are keen to watch the games on TV then Premier Sports appears to cost £10.99 a month in the UK.  There are details here.   And I should add that I have not been paid to insert that link but done it so you can find them if you want.
