Management

Edu has already joined the club and is working away at full speed even though he’s not officially here until July.  Daily Cannon.  He’ll be presented to leading fans’ groups at the Emirates in July (Untold Arsenal – it is our one tip!)

    In terms of the story at Arsenal.com or in the medja, about Rashford texting Holding saying it wasn’t malicious; I think the story in nonsense. A player need not be _intending_ to injure an opponent; in order for the incident to be malicious. If the player was taught to play this way by a coach who recognized the hazard in that particular element; that element is malicious. If that player then moves on to play for other teams and those coaches recognize that the element has excess hazard; those coaches can either move to remove that element from the player’s portfolio or they can leave it alone. If they leave it alone, that element is still malicious, and now those coaches who refused to remove have now tainted themselves with the maliciousness.

    Rashford should have been given a long suspension for what he did. I think he should still be suspended, as Holding is not yet able to play.
