I have just received the notice reprinted below, telling me it is time to renew my season ticket. And as a season ticket holder keen to ensure that my season ticket does not lapse I interrupted my daily work of writing advertisements, and followed the link outlined in the message.
To save you ploughing through the email text itself (although you can if you want) the link given for renewing my ticket is
https://www.eticketing.co.uk/arsenal
Now that page is not actually packed with information but it does have this
———————–
As you can appreciate perhaps, I am not actually a Red or Junior Gunner but a season ticket holder, which is why they have written to me (the whole email is printed out below).
Of course, anyone can get a link wrong, and I know Untold Arsenal, within its 11,000 plus posts online published over a period of 14 years, has got lots of links wrong. But there is just a tiny number of us working on this site, and most of us have full-time jobs as well, so maybe the occasional errors are possible and, well, excusable.
But Arsenal is a multi-million-pound corporation and it should not be making mistakes or being unclear when it comes to one of the most important elements in its link with fans: to wit, asking us for money.
Obviously, this could all be me and my computer, and I might be ending up with a lot of stuff over my face in embarrassment, but I thought it worth taking the risk, because I have had a couple of other issues with Arsenal’s communication of late, in terms of not replying to emails etc when they promise to, so I thought I’d mention it.
Has anyone else had problems renewing? Come to that if you have found the right place to go to on the site could you let me know by replying to this post?
Tony

You have to click on the person outline in the top right of the screen.
Then click on “Emirates Stadium 2022-2023 Renew now” but you are right it is not very clear or easy to navigate.
Meanwhile you only have finance or debit/credit card as a means of paying for it and it is now auto-renewal.
You really will be a fan for life now!
Miko thank you for that. I must admit I interrupted my work to get the renewal done and my thoughts were elsewhere, so I didn’t look at the options carefully. But since I work in advertising I can say the first two rules we all have in writers of adverts is
a) Grab attention
b) Assume the reader is in a flying hurry and so make everything incredibly clear.
I shall now have another go!
And yes it worked. Thanks Micko, and I can confirm that there is nothing at all to say that one has to click on the face image.
I buy on line quite often, although primarily from large suppliers like Amazon, but have not come across this requirement before. Certainly if my company were to have been involved in setting up this renewal process and it was not possible for security reasons to go straight from the web page to the renewal page I would have had a big notice printed TWICE saying “please click on the logo top right” or whatever. Assuming everyone knows how the latest on line ordering process works is never a clever idea.
