A 2 – 2 draw on Saturday against Man United wasn’t enough to save Mark Hughes from becoming the second PL club to sack their manager as Southampton followed Fulham in seeking a new leader.  Southampton also sacked their Assistant Manager, Mark Bowen and Assistant Coach Eddie Niedzwiecki.  Not ideal preparation for a game on Wednesday against Spurs.

For our game against United on Wednesday we get a second appearance from Andre Marriner who we last saw a month ago in our 1 – 1 draw against Liverpool.  The Assistant referees will also be the same as on that occasion in Scott Ledger and Simon Long.  We got a single booking in Min 83 from our 7 fouls and Liverpool also got a single booking in min 52 from their 7 fouls.

Man United have also had Mr Marriner once this season in their 2 – 1 home win against Leicester on the opening week of the season.  They got two bookings in mins 54 and 69 for their 11 fouls, Leicester got one booking in the 51st minute from their 8 fouls.

In general Mr Marriner doesn’t call many fouls or give out many cards but has awarded two double yellow cards and one penalty against home teams in his 13 matches this year.  No away team has yet got more than a yellow card.

Mr Marriner with 13 matches is now the second busiest referee this season after Anthony Taylor on 14.  Martin Atkinson and Michael Oliver are both on 12.

At the other end of the list Simon Hooper has still only been allowed a whisthle on 2 occasions, after his appointment in the Bournemouth v Huddersfield game, Roger East now has 3.

Lets hope we play with the same intensity we showed on Sunday.

When our Gabon striker equalised, the din from the restaurant was tremendous which shows the number of gunner supporters in KL .
Hopefully Arsenal can win. Since the2006 season the gunners record against the top teams is dismal thanks to the fm pretty soccer.
Me thinks it about time Arsenal won at OT.

Me too and this year I think we probably have the team to do it. Two wins against top six teams in a week would be very good for club, players and fans.

Yes, it’s high time Arsenal win at Old Trafford against Man Utd in the PL haven not won there for more than a decade. Nevertheless, I am believing Arsenal will beat Man Utd tomorrow night despite that the Red Devils are having the advantage of 3 days rest haven played at away against Southampton last Saturday’s evening as against Arsenal who will have just 2 days rest after playing last Sunday’s afternoon at home against Tottenham Hotspur in the cruelsome North London Derby match. But notwithstanding the disadvantage of one day rest time less that Man Utd with one ahead of Arsenal, the Gunners who will play in the match against the Red Devils tomorrow will overcome any game fatigue suffered to them in the NLD against the Totts and incredibly find strength in depth to bind all the arch Red Devils including the junior ones in their rank and file and cast them out in their totality from the match into the bottomless pit in Manchester known only to Arsenal who will inflict on them a 0-2 away win defeat in the big game against Man Utd at fulltime of the match.

And let me warn the Gunners not to rest on their oars at Old Trafford in the game and be carried away in the believe that ref Andree Marriner who doesn’t give more than only a yellow card to a team but only to fall prey to a set trap by the Pgmo match officiating referee, Andree Marriner who could be inclined to carry out anti-Arsenal match flagging in the PL against Arsenal in the match who may decide to carry out anti-Arsenal match officiating referring against Arsenal.

Therefore, for Arsenal to be on the safe side in the match, the Gunners should put into activation their antidote that neutralises any anti-Arsenal match officiating in the PL by the Pgmo match officiating officials against Arsenal as the Gunners play a superior game in the match in all aspects of the game that is superior to the game Man Utd will have on offer in the match which normally forced the Pgmo match officiating Officials to bow to Arsenal supremacy against the opposition team they are playing against in the PL.

Will Emery start the same starts he started against the Totts and the same substitutes he used in the match last Sunday in the match against Man Utd tomorrow? I should think so. More especially start Mkhitaryan in the match to see if he’ll play seeking vengeance against his old manager, Jose Mourinho who could also start former Gunner, Alexis Sanchez in the match but who should not seek any vengeance against Arsenal because Arsenal who didn’t want him to leave the Gunners did him no wrong.

I don’t have a good feeling about this one. Arsenal are on a unbeaten run that the media keeps saying will end at any second and we are about to face Man United.

Remember that 14 years ago, after the most shocking display of thuggery and one-sided refereeing ever seen in any sport, Man United beat the Invincibles after 49 unbeaten games.

The stage is set for Marriner to put himself in the frame, just as the current GM of the PGMOL did that day.
