To answer my question: not really. But his first half was very good with a score in the 80%. But then his numbers took a dive in the second half. And he got half of his decisions wrong in that second half. Really amazing. If I would have a bad character I would think that the ref was rather satisfied with the draw and did what he could to keep it like that.
The disallowed goal from Tottenham is a mystery to me. There was no offside and this was what was signalled by the assistant. On the other hand I saw Webb being very friendly for Adebayor. I remember him being less friendly for Adebayor when he played in another team in North London. He could and should have been booked three times but only got one yellow.
Because of all his mistakes the game ended in a draw and with a poor score for the ref.

Match Preview – oh hell its Atrkinson. Arsenal v QPR

Referees update – are they listening to Untold at last? Surely not!
Referees close their official web site, but make a step in the direction we’ve been asking for
- REF REVIEWS: Man C 3 Newcastle 1 – an excellent game for the ref
- REF REVIEWS: Wigan 1 Chelsea 1 – a dreary non-event
- REF REVIEWS: Arsenal 1 Wolverhampton 1. Not a good performance
- REF REVIEWS: Villa 1 Arsenal 2 – one wrong decision but otherwise very good
- REF REVIEWS: Newcastle 0 Chelsea 3 – one shocking decision changes the whole game
I also commented at the time of the match that had Adebayor been wearing an Arsenal shirt he would have been sent off by Webb.
Thanks 04. Another ref favouring Spurs– whatever next? And I hope Matey Webb can understand Bayour better than I can!
